I don't really know what to say - I have been putting off writing a blog as I just couldn't get my head round it. But as with most things in life, the more you put it off the harder it gets.
Basically I just want to say a massive thank you to lots of people - too many to name - for their support in practical as well as emotional ways. Without your help, the last few weeks would have been even harder if thats at all possible. We really appreciate all those people who took the time to text / email/ send cards / stop and speak / hug us - so much better to acknowledge the sadness than to ignore it.
Life moves on - but the sadness and pain still hits when you are least expecting it, so I suspect the next few months will continue to be a rollercoaster ride for us. That said we are having lots of happy times as well - Lily makes it very hard to be sad for any amount of time - Toddlers are very good for the soul!
I am in danger of baring my soul on a public blog and whilst some may say I have always had a tendency to do that, this time it just doesn't seem right. So normal service will resume - i hope to return to normal blogging frequency in the next few days with a Keating pack update and training review.
Once again - thank you to all our friends - you were there when we needed you - I hope one day we will repay you in full when you need us.
