We have had a manic few weeks so i am sorry for the lack of Blog posts! I didn't know where to start.......so didn't start!
So this last week was back to work for us after having nearly 3weeks off. We really enjoyed our holiday including all the ups and downs that accompany agility including horrendous weather at Pembroke. 3 new show venues for us and we liked them all. We are already planning next year!
Of course the holiday was made even better by Dairin and Boo being on amazing form, and getting more wins than they needed to go grade 7 - I am so proud of them both. Dairin for doing so well with his first agility dog, and Boo -the little scaredy cat who people said would never be fast enough :-)
And also to the rest of the club who had such good results and since at Prestbury park - especially Nat and Dottie for going grade 7 - another triumph for the "under dog" as Dottie really is so small for a medium!
I did a training day at Humber Hounds last week and thoroughly enjoyed it - lots of fun handlers and great dogs with real potential - and a yummy lunch by Theresa and David - Thank you!
Our training days for the winter are nearly full, i am really looking forward to them and getting on and progressing the dogs ready for next year.
Away from agility we have been kept busy with Lily who is walking everywhere just because she can! She suddenly seems so grown up. And of course the new addition, Doug is also creating chaos. The others have finally accepted him and started playing - they really seemed to think he was a lamb at first! He can be a stubborn little man, and we are constantly on our toes but he has a fab personality - and Lily adores him. After 5 weeks we now have a sit, down and wait - somehow i don't think it will be a quick process training him although he loves his food so who knows!
We are off to Cornwall and Carn Brea this weekend, so lets hope for some nice weather. Good luck to everyone at Gillingham - let us know how you get on!
